Not many people like to repeat things

I’m one of them.

Or I used to be.

Sometimes, I find it boring to repeat stuff.

Sometimes it's because “there are many other new things to do, why go back?”

For example, with workouts, I used to avoid repeating a routine/video I’ve tried once because I always wanted something fresh.

“A new challenge”

For where?

I’ve come to learn that repetition is the key to stickiness.

I already lowkey knew this sha. I just didn’t want to accept it.

But I’m now a changed human.

And if you’re like I was, I’m challenging you too to change.

Whether it’s with working out, learning a new language, reading a book, etc. For it to stick, for results to show, you have to repeat.

That’s why Duolingo keeps hammering us with the same lesson over & over again to the extent where you’re able to answer the question in your sleep.

Frustrating & boring as it may be, it works.

Currently, I’m rewatching The Vampire Diaries.

Not because I’m trying to learn anything from it.

It’s just a long-time childhood memory that I’m trying to relive.

The dilemma on this now is;

how does one balance repeating old joys with exploring new wonders?

🐈 Kimiko is going

This nigga has been acting shady these past few days that we’re suspecting he just might be on his way out.

Some say it’s probably to go see a female-cat. You know, to form its own family & all

Others say it’s the way of the cats. That they eventually leave.

Me I think it’s both.

Nonetheless, Kimiko was MIA for a whole day last week & here’s what my dad said when I informed him 😂

And then when he eventually came back at night…

animalistic behavior is so real

Anyway, if you hear from me next time that I don’t know where Kimiko is anymore, don’t be surprised.

Blud is plotting his way out.

💡 Let there be light

February came with a major upgrade that sweetens my belly every time I think about it.

It took a lot but it’s so worth it.

We installed a solar inverter in the house!!! 💡

When I tell you “major upgrade” because we have SUFFEREDDD.

Infact, still suffering, because the power situation is at an all-time low.

However, we have gained independence by removing ourselves from that situation.

Will be soaking garri for a while though, but at least the water for the garri is cold 🧊
